We loved our stay at the Blue Marlon hotel. The rooms were very comfortable with a lovely balcony and beautiful views. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The food is very good. One of the best restaurants in Mindelo if you ask me, and we tried alot of them :).

Stayed here for just one night. The room was good, with a balcony, AC, and bathroom. Breakfast was okay and typical for the area, but nothing special. The rooftop pool cannot be used, so only the lower pool is available. Unfortunately, it’s right next to a loud construction site. While we were lying by the pool, the construction workers were constantly whistling, waving, and watching us, which was very uncomfortable: especially as two women. The hotel is also a bit far from everything: about 15 minutes to restaurants and the beach. The staff is very nice and helpful, and they even let us use the pool after checking out. However, they asked us to pay again even though we had already paid online, which didn’t seem well managed.

Had the best dinner at this place. The food is delicious, cooked to perfection, with a beautiful presentation. The best restaurant that I have tried in Mindelo. Looking forward to going back again and try new dishes.

The Blue Marlin Hotel was one of the best hotels we have stayed in Mindelo so far. The location was very central. The rooms are clean and you sleep very well in the beds. The view from the upper floors (2) is beautiful. You felt very safe in the hotel. Josina was friendly from the beginning and managed everything. The direct booking went without a hitch. She was always very helpful with all the activities. Her colleague Jocy was also very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was always a buffet, very varied and well laid out. The staff was always friendly. In general, we had the impression that the staff there is very well trained. We stayed for 14 days and the price/performance ratio was very good. We will gladly come back again.

When using the small pool it's good if you like attention, because it's right next to the restaurant tables. :) Staff are amazingly friendly. Open since March 2018, this modern hotel is squeaky clean too. Have your meal on the terrace with its comfy rattan furniture, behind a bit of glass that offers a great view of the harbour.
