Best food we had on the island. Menu is not wide but everything is cooked with love. Can't recommend more highly. If you are on Sao Antao it is worth the detour

Black Mamba is a great place to stay in Paul Very relaxing - Liana makes you feel at home She is generous ! The food ( pasta) prepared by Liana ( she is Italian !!!! ) are excellent So tasty … Do not hesitate - black mamba will make you happy

We had an amazing time in Paul, Cape Verde at Black Mamba. Relaxed athmosphere, beautiful sun rise, the food is amazing and the dog supercute.

We initially booked for two nights and ended up extending to 4 since we felt comfortable with the place, the host and the location. Santo Antão is a beautiful island and Black Mamba is strategically located with an easy reach of the best trekking paths. Liana is an amazing host and she is the added value to her hotel, always keen to provide suggestions and advice on the best trekking to do. All the staff working there is extremely nice and the food they prepare very good. If you stay there, we highly recommend having breakfast - abundant and good food before starting your daily activity and with different options everyday. To note, shower is a bit more complicated after 6 PM (very weak water jet) and if you pay with card there is an overprice due to local policy…
