We visited here for the first time last night while on holiday and had a great experience. The location is fantastic — right on the beachfront and very easy to find. There’s plenty of seating available both inside and outside, which gives a nice choice depending on the atmosphere you prefer. The staff were friendly, efficient, and made us feel welcome throughout our visit. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. We shared the bread and garlic king prawns to start, which were delicious and packed with flavour — especially garlicky, which we loved. For mains, we both ordered the fillet mignon cooked rare. They arrived closer to blue-rare, but that suited us perfectly. Both steaks were incredibly tender and full of flavour. We kept the sides simple with chips and salad, which complemented the meal nicely. To drink, we had vodka with fresh orange juice followed by a red wine. If we had more days left in our holiday, we would definitely return. Highly recommended!

Very nice beachfront restaurant open for lunch and dinner. We were there for dinner and it was a lovely experience! The fish and seafood are very fresh, the desserts are delicious and prices are fair. Totally recommend the Chef’s tuna (rare) or the Seafood skewer if you want to try something more diverse.

I had a truly wonderful experience at Barracuda in Santa Maria, Sal Island. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive, making us feel right at home throughout our visit. The team’s warm service really stands out and adds a special touch to the whole dining experience. The food was delicious and beautifully prepared — every dish we tried was full of flavor and clearly made with care. Whether it was fresh seafood or other menu choices, everything was tasty and satisfying. The combination of great food and excellent service made our meal memorable and enjoyable. Overall, Barracuda is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Sal Island — the nice staff and tasty food make it a restaurant I’d happily recommend to friends and would definitely return to myself in the future!

6.50€ for this type of salad. The fish I had (wahoo) wasn’t anything special but priced high and served without any sides. Just avoid the place. Too expensive for what it is !!

WOW, YUMMY, TASTY! We had to repeat because there were many dishes we wanted to taste. Highy quality cooking. Over the price of the average around but totally valuable. Good location with front beach terrace and nice environment. Super kindness of his owner David. Highly recommended: tuna tartar, carpaccio, ceviche, tataki, fried cheese…
