Great value for your money. Our top two choices on the menu weren’t available, and when the server noted that, she also pointed to about half the other items, unavailable as well. We got grouper and bica and expected they would be fillets but they ended up being the whole fish! (700 CVE each) Really tasty fish and topped with a delicious sauce. The side dishes were just ok. No drinks menu available. They don’t accept foreign credit cards. The decor is dated so we were a bit worried about cleanliness, but everything seemed clean and sanitary.

They have fast wi-fi, they have affordable coffee, the view is nice, staff is friendly. What more can anyone ask for? ;)

I think it's the best place around the centre of town. It's nice for a beer for sure. For dinner the choice seems large but they only have the catch of the day. Ot was altogether very decent. For cape verdian standards, I would classify the establishment as fancy.

A good restaurant to ease into life on São Nicolau. It's often the first stop for foreigners. They have quite a big menu of fish and meat, and preparation can take quite some time. They didn't have beers on tap (pressão) when we were there, but beers in bottles. One meal is like €5 - €8. If it gets windy on the terrace, go inside! Also, golfinho means dolphin🐬 in case you were wondering why there's a giant dolphin statue on the terrace
