We found this little spot and had lunch sitting at one of the tables facing the street. This is definitely a place for the locals, with tasty food, the meat was savory and the tuna (atum) the best we had in CP so far. We as always skipped the French fries - they seem to be undercooked in the region. It is a loud place - people talk, discus and live there lives. To us it is a charm. The waiter didn’t speak English, but she was helpful, slowed down when talking and we understood each other in the end. Better food and prices than at the more touristy places.

Great for lunch! They usually have two meals per day, which change every day: one meat and one fish. I had the meat (turkey=peru in portuguese) And my partner the fish (peixe). With two beers, the total price was 840 CVE. Very friendly and good service too!

Amazing food, great staff. 3 sisters run the place. Genuine and caring, this is the place to enjoy good food and have a good laugh. Try meat with Ananas and búzios.
