The BEST way to end our trip in Cabo Verde! So happy I found this restaurant on the last night 😁!! Had the best fish, big portions, tender, juicy, so full of flavor 🤤 served with nice garlic sauce good legumes and rice 🍚 It's quiet, humble and food prepared with passion. Just by passing by you can smell the fish being cooked and it's impossible to resist 🐟 TIP: 💡 if you're looking for Lobster 🦞 this is the cheapest spot I found, for just 40 euro per portion!!! A must definitely 😁

Best restaurant we visited our trip, only wish we could’ve visited more! Recommended by friends and smelled incredible when we walked in. Waitress didn’t speak much English but recommended me the fresh fish she liked, esmoregal, so I ordered that and partner ordered chicken. I googled esmoregal which is amberjack. Food arrived quickly and was so fresh, piping hot, simple but incredible. As well as being small, freshly caught dishes, lovely atmosphere and staff, prices were incredible. Two meals and two glasses of wine for 1600CVE! We tipped and cannot wait to visit again. Highly recommend to support independent businesses off the main strip of Santa Maria!

Good Quality and Prices! Real authentic local gem! Always fresh fish (small menu but local catch) Super friendly waitress! Little hint: take a Card Deck with you, waiting time can be longer, what’s normal in Cabo Verde :)
