I was here for my Open Water Diver, which I had booked ~2 months in advance. The mail contact was quick, professional, and hearty. 3 people had booked but we were only 2 when the course started, and after the Lady who started with me decided to go for the SCUBA diver only, I was alone for 2 dives plus an extended skills session with Ilson. Ilson is a great teacher, he has a very calm aura and just radiates "pro", underwater, I always felt totally safe with him! Even in a dive with quite heavy currents, he took the time to ground with me, correct my swimming technique, and also pointed out rays, pufferfish, morays, stonefish and a nurse shark! Back at the beach, he gave me some practical tips regarding equipment, what to work on and so on. I highly recommend this place and would come again in a heartbeat!

My wife and I had a great experience with Eco Dive School! They really practice “no stress” culture in how they treat you and conduct the dives. Samba, Ilson, and Fernando were super competent, patient and encouraging….especially for my wife who had not dove in a few years and needed to regain confidence. I will use them for my next trip to CV, I was very happy with the overall experience. We rented our gear from the shop, the wetsuits were super new, all the gear was well maintained and functioning.

Eco dive school provide a comprehensive, fun and supportive diving course. Our instructor Ilson was friendly and very informative, the pool sessions translated well to open water diving and I now feel prepared for many future dives. Every single staff member made you feel welcome, no complaints whatsoever!

Did a refresher and 4 fundives with this dive school. Communication by mail with Sandra was quick and she replied to all my questions. On site in Sal: knowledgeable, helpful diving instructors who take good care of you. The refresher was very thorough and useful. For the fundives we went on a small rubber boat with only 3 or 4 divers + divemaster. They also have a bigger boat that can equip more people. I had some doubts after reading some reviews about equipment etc: yes, some of their wetsuits are a bit worn down and the cleaning facilities are not fancy. However, the rest of the equipment is fine and the people who work there compensate very well for this. Special thanks to Ilson and Fernando. I'm glad I chose Eco Dive School. Also reasonably priced. Recommended.

Amazing and beautiful dive centre by the beach! It's well equipped and the staff are very nice here! The biodiversity in Sal, Cape verde is very rich, you can see many fishes and a few nurse sharks! I spent 4 days diving there and it was amazing! Highly recommend it!
