After a month I was quite fed up with the Cabo Verdian diet and after I had eaten a traditional meal here, which was just a bit better quality than what I was used to in Tarrafal, I went back the next day and asked for a meal with just rice and vegetables. This is the only place I found in Tarrafal that doesn't kill the vegetables and they actually made cauliflower tempura and cooked (not overcooked) vegetables with little pieces of fried eggplant. It was delicious and so nice to eat something vegan and different for a change. Highly recommended, especially for vegans or vegetarians.

Really nice place, good food, the owner took really good care of us and made sure we could understand the menu. Highly recommend on a hot day, or any day!

Excellent food at very reasonable prices, honestly some of the best I've had in Cape Verde. The menu offers plenty of options to choose from, which is always appreciated. The only downside is the waiting time could be better, but the quality of the food more than makes up for it.
