Large apartment in good location, with stunning terrace on rooftop. Friendly and helpful host (family lives in the same house). Beach, restaurants with local food, shops and grocery nearby. Probably best value for money in the neighborhood

The spacious apartment, simply but attractively furnished, is located a bit away from the center, but you can quickly take one of the numerous city buses (e.g., lines 7, 1, 10) just a few stops to the center. Advantage of the location: only about 500 meters to the city beach, Laginha, and the Caravela restaurant, one of the better restaurants in Mindelo, often with live music, some of which was really good. Our terrace was the rooftop terrace, which seemed to be in the winter blues in January.

Large, very well-equipped kitchen-living room. Great rooftop terrace for shared use! A bus stop is right across the street, and you can be in the center in a few minutes for 40 CVE. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful! Tips: 1) There is a good and inexpensive local restaurant right in the building opposite. We can't recommend another local restaurant across the street. 2) At the western end of Sao Pedro beach, there is a sheltered area where you can also swim! In our opinion, it's the most beautiful beach on the entire island.
