AldeaPanoramica is clearly above the general standards in Cape Verde. The staff is exceptional: professional, warm, and consistently helpful. Everyone speaks English, which makes communication effortless. The food is very good, and the women in the kitchen are happy to accommodate requests, including vegan meals, preparing all dishes fresh. The hotel has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, and the location is close to the best hikes in Paul valley. There are some minor drawbacks. The rooms are extremely damp. Even with windows kept open, humidity does not dissipate, towels never fully dry (even after two days), and there is a real risk of mold. Air conditioning or proper dehumidification would be essential. Breakfast is also quite limited. The selection would benefit from better bread, more fruit, cereals, spreads, and vegetables. Vegan guests should plan to bring their own breakfast items. It was a lovely stay!!

Wow!! Breathtaking views, hiking trails right at the doorstep - perfect for nature lovers! The staff were super helpful and accommodating, the pool was a lovely refreshing spot after a day out. Delicious food, too - would've eaten there all day if we could. It was such a peaceful oasis, we didn't want to leave. Would definitely stay again.

The place is amazing, the pool too. Be careful with the prices of the tours they are selling. You can find shared vans that drops you were you want for 3€ instead of 75€. The landlord was drinking and smoking in the living room all the time. Not sure they always treat well the employees. Except him, the employees and Leny from the reception are the nicest persons ever. The food (breakfast and diner) was really good. Hotel Aldea is in one of the most beautiful locations we've visited. Accomodation is quirky and far removed from a city hotel which made the experience more special. Fabulous local walks and delicious local rum plus great food at Aldea & lovely pool to cool off in after a strenuous walk with the most amazing backdrop. All staff and the owner were super helpful & friendly. Highly recommend staying here - it's one of our top memories of CV.

- Very friendly and helpful owner + staff - Warm welcome - Room isn’t big but has everything you need, good beds - Room stays cool (no airco) - Breakfast is basic; diner (3 courses) is nothing fancy but good (one night there was a live music performance – great atmosphere) - Nice pool + terrace area, - Magnificent views, quiet area - lovely setting - The chickens get up really early so if you’re sensitive to that: don’t forget your earplugs 😉
