Honestly the worst hotel I stayed in my life. You cant say you are a 4 stars hotel when THERE IS NO WIFI IN THE ROOM, even then sell there is. I complained and they gave me an “exceptional modem” which cut the internet every 10 minutes - I have never seen anything like this in my life You can’t say it’s a 4 stars hotel when you go complain about something and unless then manager is there they treat you BAD The kitchen was was infested by little bugs DONT STAY HERE unless it’s your only choice And the restaurant they partner with is always closed which is the only restaurant in this desert of nothing Really, DONT STAY HERE Lastly, I had a cleaning issue at 23:00. I called for help and they said they only had cleaning services from the morning.. a 4 stars hotel has a cleaning service 24/7. This is a 1 or 2 stars hotel maximum

As someone already mentioned in the other review to call this as a 4star hotel is bit over ambition. It’s not bad, but it’s a bit worn out. For us as a family the most ridiculous is that we were not able to book a two bedroom apartment as these were full for our stay, yet we got an one bedroom apartment where another bedroom and another bathroom was just “locked” (without a door hand). Why? It just needed a one day job to be ready…don’t understand. This location is definitely an all inclusive which you can get plenty on Sal if you want and feel a bit like ghost town. At the same time the breakfast is good, the pool area is nice and the location is great if you are an explorer type and rent a car ( rent an SUV minimum Duster as there are not typical roads on Sal if you want to be an explorer).

The rooms were rather spacious, although we encountered a few minor inconveniences. The air conditioning malfunctioned, which led to a room change on the next day. Both pools needed to be filled each morning around 6 a.m. Security personnel would clean the pools of debris while guests were swimming, which caused some discomfort and prompted people to exit the water due to the proximity of the cleaning tools. It seemed that maintenance could be improved throughout the resort. The only available restaurant, KARAVELA, had very poor service. The staff lacked experience and communication skills. Very unprofessional I would say. The food was not very good, and there was a lack of variety.

Do not book this through Agoda! This is a scam! We paid and had a valid booking reservation. The hotel couldnt find our booking, would help solve the case or give s statement that they didnt have our booking. No help from agoda either. The case is reportet to the local police.

If we were to pay, say £500 less, and they called it a 3-Star Hotel it would have met my partner's and my expectations. It is definitely not a 4-Star, and it is overpriced: Customer Service - best we had was a pleasant welcome and helpful lady on reception. The staff around the pool bar, breakfast/dinner areas do not seem bothered at all with being there or creating positive guest experience. We had better customer service across different bars, restaurants and locations on our trip, so we don't believe it was a cultural difference, just poor customer service. Food - If you're happy with "school dinner" quality and a lack of choice, you'll be ok. We're glad we weren't all-inclusive. Eating out was definitely the right choice here. Hotel / Room - incredibly basic. Uncomfortable beds, door handles missing, sink plug not connected and getting stuck. Feels like a poor construction job. Oh and we were lucky enough to have a chronic smoker next door stinking out the whole floor. 🙄 We had a fantastic time in Cape Verde, unfortunately this hotel did not add to the experience at all. An honest review we hope gets listened too and to advise others.
