The tour begins with your transfer from your accommodation to the volcano. Start the ascent accompanied by your guide, who will adapt the pace to your abilities. After 3 to 4 hours, you will reach Cape Verde’s highest point at 2,829 m.

From the volcano summit, the third-highest mountain in the Atlantic Ocean, enjoy an unforgettable 360° panorama over Fogo Island, with the possibility of seeing other islands if the weather allows.

Then take a well-deserved break and feel on top of the world. Your guide will share information about the eruption that covered the town in lava.
